Understanding the task function

This article explains a general overview of the functionalities available for you in the task section of the main application.

A task is where you perform manual work as scheduled in the sequence or as follow-up steps.


Task-related tabs

The task section lets you create and search for a task by name or by using other filters.

The tabs on the screen are as follows:

  • All - Shows all of the tasks that are due within the next 24–48 hours.

  • Manual Emails - All emails scheduled to be sent that will require personalisation before sending.

  • LinkedIn - All LinkedIn tasks that are due or upcoming.

  • Manual SMS - All SMS outreach due or upcoming.

  • Scheduled Calls - All upcoming phone calls you have to make.

  • To-Dos - Any reminder tasks you have set in sequences that are due or upcoming.

  • Sequence Errors - Displays all tasks that require further information to move forward e.g. LinkedIn URL required.

  • Drafts - All enrolments not fully completed e.g on "Hold" status.


Search and filter options

These are the search controls and filters above the task table.

  • Search Task - type in keywords (i.e. LinkedIn tasks, call back...etc.) for the system to show you related tasks

  • Pull-down tab + Search field - lets you search via due date, today, and assigned to. You can then search or select from the drop-down the information you would like to filter by.


Task table tabs

  • Start Tasks - clicking on the first contact will allow you to start your tasks

  • + Task - lets you create a new task using the side panel which will appear

Above are the side panel pull-down menu options.

  • Task type - LinkedIn, Call, Email, Reminder

  • Task notes - the content of the LinkedIn, Call, Email, Reminder

  • Contact - select the name of the contact for this task

  • Assigned to - enables you to assign this task to any user or member of your team

  • Due date: set a due date for this task

  • Due time: set the time for this task to be done
