Managing your tasks is a key element of using SuperReach effectively, and requires daily management to keep on top of.

However, sometimes you may not need to manage your tasks, due to prior commitments or lack of details, for example, a phone number.

We created the auto-close function on SuperReach to make sure that a task will be marked as completed a certain number of days after the Due Date, if not already done so by the user by the Due Date. This function is on a step-by-step basis, so requires close management when building your sequences.

How to set up your Auto-Close on Sequence Steps

Let's walk through how the auto-close works and how to set it up on SuperReach.

1. Edit a Step in a sequence

This can either be an existing sequence or a new sequence you are creating. Either create a new step or edit an existing step.

2. Select the checkbox to "Automatically mark this step as complete if not completed in Select Days after the due date"

3. You can then click on "Select Days" and select how many days after the due date the task will automatically be created as completed by.

You're all set! This setting is specifically meant for tasks which are usually manual and are not meant to be reported on as it will register the Task as completed.
